Our own Merle Hirschman and her Greenwich Walk Stitch Therapy Group the group made and donated over 2,500 masks. The Rotary Club of Huguenot Trail applied for a COVID-19 Rotary Grant and were approved for $5,000! The group has donated another 8,000 masks since the grant was received on May 12. The Greenwich Walk Stitch Therapy Group currently has a total of 31 sewers, cutters, washers and delivery helpers. We have provided masks for over 10,500 people to date!

HT Rotary supports and participates in the Travis Manion 9-11 Heroes Run.

A big thank you goes out to James River Rotary Club and Richmond Alarm Company for hosting the Rise Against Hunger event this past Saturday! With the help of our members, friends and guests we prepared 10,152 meals that will be distributed to families in need all over the world!

We partnered with Crestwood Presbyterian Church to package 256,392 meals, enough to feed 702 children for a full year!

A powerful small club

Fifth Wednesday was a fun family night of indoor putt putt golf!

We chartered a bus and took a four-hour Tacky Lights Tour!

Huguenot Trail gave $1000 to Pat Myers, who represents FACES (Family Advocacy Creating Advocacy and Services), which works to dissolve the stigma around mental illnesses.

Member, Barbara Byrd, presented us a flag that her son-in-law flew when his black Hawk helicopter made a combat mission over Central Iraq. He is SFC Christopher Riley.

Our first Monte Carlo Night was a huge success! Gaming tables (for play money), live and silent auctions, lots of good food and, best of all, lots of fellowship.

We helped Bridging RVA deliver 150 beds to 150 kids who had no bed of their own.

Kids, grandparents, members, bowlers and non-bowlers all had a blast at Family Bowling Night on the Fifth Wednesday.
