In recognition of their contributions to their school and community, the Rotary Club of Huguenot Trail awards scholarships each year to graduating high school seniors who are advancing their education in college or university study, community college or technical schools.  The scholarships are awarded on the basis of community service, academic success and essay content and will be awarded in amounts from $500 to $1,000.

CRITERIA

• Each candidate must:
  • Be a senior at Monacan High School
  • Document acceptance in a college, university, community college or technical school
  • Be active in the community
  • Provide a reference from a teacher
  • Provide an official high school transcript
  • Complete the attached application including an essay (one page only

·         Applications must be submitted to the guidance office by March 31, 2011 and will be awarded at Awards Night
